A Note From Father Eickhoff

There are just a few notes to make about ongoing or upcoming events here at St. Anne Parish in this bulletin article.
- If you are planning on signing up a child for Religious Education here at St. Anne’s, please do so right away. The sign up date is Monday, August 21. The Religious Education department needs the final count of the number of RE students to order supplies for the coming year. If you haven’t registered yet, please call the RE office on Monday.
- Tickets are on sale for the Parish Pig Roast on Sunday, September 10 after all the Masses this weekend and next weekend. Tickets are Four Dollars each with children under three eating free. The price includes the meal with all the sides and drinks. Cash or checks are accepted. You can also get information about donating baked goods for desserts at the ticket tables.
- Please pray for our Confirmation candidates from St. Anne Parish who were on a retreat this Saturday. They were preparing for their reception of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in the Sacrament of Confirmation this upcoming October. You might also pray for the adult volunteers who assisted at this retreat and had to keep up with the Confirmation candidates.
- Speaking of volunteers, the Religious Education program is in need of additional volunteers to help run the RE classes this coming school year. There are a variety of different positions that are in need of being filled. You can get more information by calling the RE office or by going online to the parish website.
