A Note From Father Eickhoff

June 11, 2023

Hopefully my knee surgery went well this past week.  Since I am writing this bulletin article before the surgery happens, I don’t yet know if it worked.  I guess the way you and I can tell it went well or not is if I am at this weekend’s Masses.  Nevertheless, I want to thank you for your prayers and support while I have been injured.

I’m going to keep this bulletin article short this weekend.  Here are a few things going on at St. Anne Parish that you should be aware of:

Registration for the 2023-2024 Religious Education program has begun.  You can sign up on the St. Anne Parish website.  On the parish website click on the “Learn the Faith” tab at the top of the website and choose the first option “RE Registration 2023-2024.”  Please carefully read the instructions as to how to download and fill out the registration form.  There is a special discounted rate for RE students who are signed up on or before June 28th.  All registrations need to be completed by August 21st for the upcoming RE year.  There is also additional information about how to sign up in today’s bulletin.  Just keep turning the page and you will find it.

The RE program cannot function without the help of many volunteers.  The volunteers in the parish RE program function as teachers, as aides, as office help, and as hall monitors (think of them as door wardens which is a much cooler sounding title).  If you would like to help or are seeking more information about volunteering in the RE program, please check the parish website.  You will find a link to information about volunteering on the same webpage as the “RE Registration 2023-2024” mentioned in the previous paragraph.

St. Anne Parish will be holding Vacation Bible School on July 24-27 this year. Information as to how to sign a child up will be coming out shortly.  This program will be needing some teen and adult volunteers as well.   Please call the RE office for more information.

Yours in Christ,

Fr. Stephen Eickhoff
Pastor
