A Note From Father Eickhoff
January 15, 2023
- You have seen the posters in the church.
- You have seen the notices in the parish bulletin.
- You have seen the signs posted around town.
- You have even seen the great, big banner mounted on the church bell tower.
But have you signed up yet for The Search?
If you have, thank you and we look forward to welcoming you to the upcoming parish spiritual retreat.
If you haven’t, go ahead and sign up. Signing up can be done through the parish website or by scanning those weird looking box codes on the signs and notices in the church and around town (there was even a box code on the great, big banner hanging from the bell tower).
If you are wondering what The Search is; well, it is an opportunity to learn more about our Catholic faith while also seeking to get better in practicing our faith in our daily life. Participants will attend one session each week for seven weeks. There will be sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday both during the day and in the evening as well as a session on Sunday. If you are having trouble committing to coming to a session the same day of the week for seven weeks, don’t worry about it. You can mix and match sessions each week. The important thing is to come once a week.
The Search begins on January 29 so go ahead and sign up today. Participating in The Search will be a great way to prepare for Lent (Ash Wednesday is coming up on February 22).

Extras
You will want to save the date for the Knights of Columbus sponsored Parish Chili Tasting to be held at St. Anne on Saturday, February 18. Everyone is welcome to both test the chili and submit your chili for taste testing. Ticket information will be released soon. See the bulletin for more details about having your chili at the Chili Tasting.
Yours in Christ,
Fr. Stephen Eickhoff
