A Note From Father Eickhoff

Today I want to provide an update to you about the 2025 Catholic Ministries Annual Appeal. This is where St. Anne Parish currently stands:

Our parish goal amount is: $101,300

The amount currently pledged is: $128,809

The amount currently paid is: $92,866

The amount currently due from pledges is: $35,943

There are currently 472 donors for this year’s appeal (compared to 485 last year)

The money raised by the Catholic Ministries Annual Appeal is used by the Diocese of Joliet to further Catholic ministries and charities in our own area. For example, some of the money raised goes to pay for the preparation and education of future priests for our diocese. Another example of where the donations go to would be charities that assist the poor and needy within our diocese. And other money is used to help fund various Catholic ministries that operate across many different parishes. St. Anne Parish did very well last year in exceeding our goal amount for money raised to support the appeal. And we are well on track to meet and exceed our goal amount this year.

If you have already contributed to the 2025 annual appeal I want to thank you for your support. If you have pledged money to the appeal, I encourage you to complete your pledge over the course of the remainder of the year. There are no doubt parishioners who were not in a financial position to contribute or pledge to the appeal when it was announced at the beginning of the year. If your financial position has changed, I encourage you to contribute to the appeal. You can support the appeal directly through the Diocese of Joliet website: www.diojoliet.org. Just look for the big red “Donate” button on the top of the main page. You can also take one of the Appeal envelopes that are located in the booklet racks in the narthex of the church.
